I'm Tara Ravaei. Birth & Postpartum Doula, Educator, Placenta Encapsulator, Caregiver, Mother Lover and as one of my clients called me recently... Birth Angel.
Consider me your Birth Bestie. Your shoulder to lean on, your pregnancy, birth & postpartum coach, your sister, your confidante, your biggest supporter all rolled into one. I am an emotional mama with a huge passion for womens rights and a fire in my belly for birth rights and self love and acceptance. My dream is that the way we birth is revolutionised; so that every woman and family feels safe, supported, secure, confident, empowered and beautiful as they venture into one of life's most magical moments... birthing the mother.
I trained with Australian Doulas and have worked with Perth parents, attending births for the past 10 years. I offer emotional and practical support and continuity of care throughout your pregnancy and postpartum as well as contraction by contraction support during labour. I have also trained with Placenta Benefits International and offer Placenta Arts and Encapsulation, Placenta burial ceremonies, Birth Debriefing, Birth Planning and Mother Blessing ceremonies. I look forward to connecting with and holding space for local families so they can have the best possible journey into parenthood.
